What to expect on your
Maternity Photo Shoot

We recommend scheduling six to ten weeks before your due date - no later than your seventh month if possible. But if you are closer than that, give us a call. We will always do our best to fit you in. Your session will take 3 to 4 hours from beginning to end. Our make-up artist will be the first to arrive to begin your experience. The remaining team will arrive approximate 30 minutes later. Please designate a place in your home where we can setup and place our propr & equipment. Your make-up will need to be done in a location where there is the most light. Your actual photo shoot will take approximately 2 hours and we’ll be capturing between 50 to 150 images.

Several hours before your photo shoot, you’ll want to take off anything that has tight elastic like slacks with tight waistbands and undergarments, in order to make sure you don’t have elastic or strap marks on your skin. Keep in mind that your hands and feet will be shown . . . so don’t forget to have them manicured/pedicured.

Our team will bring most props and fabrics that will be included in your shoot, but you should als be prepared with the following:

• A black and/or white tube bra/top; black underware(preferably a thong)

• Favorite Jewelry (necklaces, earrings, etc)

• For your husband/partner, jeans & white button-down shirt and white or black T-shirt and/or tank. and Linen pant/shirt

• If Children and/or toddlers will be participating, you may want to have an extra person to assist in the shoot to allow you time to relax ans focus on the experience.
